Surratt Construction Group started as a one-man home improvement company the in fall of 2018. Today, we’ve grown into a husband-and-wife team combining complementary expertise: Pinkie, a licensed real estate agent with hands-on construction experience, oversees both building and real estate services, while Imani, a licensed general contractor, engineer, and interior designer, leads construction management and design. Together, we provide a full-service approach to residential projects, guiding you from vision to finished home with confidence and care.

Meet the Team

  • President/Founder

    Pinkie has been transforming homes since 2018, combining hands-on construction expertise with a unique perspective from his previous career in health and fitness. He realized that the human body and a home are built on the same principle: interdependent systems working together (digestive system vs. plumbing, hair vs. roof, skin vs. cladding, eyes vs. windows, etc.). This insight guides his approach, helping him understand how every part of a home functions as a whole. Starting as a handyman, he quickly expanded into custom carpentry and full-scale renovations, building Surratt Construction Group’s reputation for quality, professionalism, and attention to detail.

    Pinkie’s philosophy is simple: treat every client with fairness, respect, and transparency, making the remodeling process straightforward and stress-free while delivering results that exceed expectations.

    When he’s not on-site, you can find him enjoying golf or spending time with his wife and kids.

  • Operations Manager/Designer

    Imani has dedicated her entire career to the construction industry, bringing nearly 20 years of experience managing masonry and general trades projects. For the past six years, she has served as a design manager for a nationwide real estate developer, honing her skills in project planning, permitting strategies, and design consultation. Working alongside her husband at Surratt Construction Group is the realization of a long-held dream, allowing her to combine her expertise in construction management and interior design to guide every project from concept to completion.

    Outside of work, Imani enjoys spending time with her husband and kids, volunteering at her church, or practicing yoga.
